Benefits and applications
This tyre + tube set is ideal for small tractors, single-axle tractors, rotary tillers, garden and municipal machinery where reliable traction on grass, soil or loose surfaces is required. The V-8504 tread pattern ensures good grip and straight-line stability, while the 4PR carcass provides solid stability under load.
Thanks to the TT tyre type (with tube), the system is particularly service-friendly: damage can often be repaired more easily, and the tube ensures reliable air sealing even with slightly older or heavily used rims. The maximum load capacity of 165 kg and the permitted maximum speed of 15 km/h make this tyre a suitable choice for slow-moving work machines in continuous operation.
Explanation of technical terms
- TT (Tube Type): Tyre construction in which a separate tube is mounted inside the tyre. The tube provides the air seal.
- PR (Ply Rating): Ply Rating indicates the load capacity class of the tyre. A higher PR number stands for a more robust carcass and higher load capacity.
- Rim size: Refers to the rim diameter in inches (inch) on which the tyre is mounted.
- Load capacity: Maximum weight that a tyre may safely carry at the correct air pressure.
- Max. speed: Maximum permissible driving speed at which the tyre may be used under its rated load.
- Valve type TR13: Common tube valve with cylindrical valve stem, suitable for many smaller rims in industrial and garden applications.
Frequently asked questions about this product
Age: Trailer tyres age more as a result of being left stationary than from the number of kilometres travelled. It is advisable to replace them after around six years, even if the tread is still in good condition; for trailers approved for 100 km/h, this is mandatory. The date of manufacture is shown as a DOT number on the sidewall: 3223 means the 32nd calendar week of 2023.
Load capacity (Load Index, LI): The number before the letter indicates the load capacity per tyre. The fitted tyre must meet at least the value stated in the vehicle documents — a higher value is permitted, but a lower one is not.

Speed index: The letter following the load index indicates the maximum permitted speed. An ‘L’ is required for a 100 km/h rating.

| J | 100 | M | 130 | Q | 160 |

Winter tyres: There is no requirement for winter tyres on trailers, as the wheels are not driven. An M+S or Alpine symbol is not required.
Tyre pressure: Trailer tyres require significantly higher pressure than car tyres. The correct pressure is specified in the vehicle documents or on the sticker on the trailer. Insufficient pressure is the most common cause of tyre damage.
Tread depth: the legal minimum is 1.6 mm. You can also recognise old tyres by fine cracks in the sidewall and tread base.
Replacement: Tyres and complete wheels.
