Benefits and applications
The KINGS TIRE 20x11.00-9 V-1512 4PR TL stands out through its combination of stability, load capacity and ride comfort. The 4PR construction provides a solid carcass structure for daily use without unnecessary extra weight. Thanks to the tubeless design (TL), the risk of sudden air loss is reduced and maintenance is simplified.
Typical applications include light transport vehicles, small industrial and yard loaders, trailers in internal plant traffic, as well as various machines used in garden and landscape maintenance. The approved maximum speed of 140 km/h (SI N) also allows use in faster transport applications within the specified load limits.
Explanation of technical terms
- TL (Tubeless): Tubeless tyre that is mounted directly on the rim without a separate inner tube.
- PR (Ply Rating): Indicator of the relative load capacity class of the carcass. 4PR stands for light to medium reinforcement and thus a balanced ratio of stability and flexibility.
- LI (Load Index): The load index indicates the maximum permissible load capacity of the tyre at a specified inflation pressure. LI 38 corresponds here to a load capacity of 132 kg.
- SI (Speed Index): The speed index indicates the maximum permissible speed for which the tyre is designed. SI N stands for up to 140 km/h.
- Rim size (inch): Indicates the rim diameter on which the tyre is mounted, here 9 inch.
Frequently asked questions about this product
Age: Trailer tyres age more as a result of being left stationary than from the number of kilometres travelled. It is advisable to replace them after around six years, even if the tread is still in good condition; for trailers approved for 100 km/h, this is mandatory. The date of manufacture is shown as a DOT number on the sidewall: 3223 means the 32nd calendar week of 2023.
Load capacity (Load Index, LI): The number before the letter indicates the load capacity per tyre. The fitted tyre must meet at least the value stated in the vehicle documents — a higher value is permitted, but a lower one is not.

Speed index: The letter following the load index indicates the maximum permitted speed. An ‘L’ is required for a 100 km/h rating.

Winter tyres: There is no requirement for winter tyres on trailers, as the wheels are not driven. An M+S or Alpine symbol is not required.
Tyre pressure: Trailer tyres require significantly higher pressure than car tyres. The correct pressure is specified in the vehicle documents or on the sticker on the trailer. Insufficient pressure is the most common cause of tyre damage.
Tread depth: the legal minimum is 1.6 mm. You can also recognise old tyres by fine cracks in the sidewall and tread base.
Replacement: Tyres and complete wheels.
