Product.Nr.: 990015860
Manufacturer: KINGS TIRE
This KINGS TIRE tyre with matching tube is specially designed for sack trucks in transport and light industry applications. The 4.00-4 size in combination with the V-6605 tread pattern offers a robust, reliable solution for daily use on flat and slightly uneven surfaces. Thanks to the 6PR construction, the tyre is particularly durable and suitable for higher loads, while the tube with JS87 valve allows easy inflation and secure air pressure retention.

Benefits and application
This tyre + tube set is ideal for sack trucks that are regularly used under load in commercial or private environments. The 6PR carcass ensures high stability and resistance to impacts and punctures. With a load capacity of 210 kg, the tyre is perfectly suited for transporting heavy goods, for example in warehouses, workshops, on construction sites or in gardening and landscaping.
The maximum tyre pressure of 4.2 bar allows precise adjustment to the desired load capacity and running smoothness. The low maximum speed of 15 km/h is tailored to typical hand truck and wheelbarrow applications and ensures safe, controlled handling. Thanks to the TT design with separate tube and JS87 valve, the tyre is easy to mount and can be serviced or replaced if necessary.
Explanation of technical terms
- TT (Tube Type): Tyre design with a separate tube inside the tyre. Air tightness and pressure retention are provided by the tube.
- PR (Ply Rating): Ply Rating indicates the load capacity class of the carcass. A higher number (e.g. 6PR) stands for a more robust construction and higher load capacity.
- Inch size: Indicates the approximate rim diameter on which the tyre is mounted (here 4 inch).
- Valve type JS87: Special angled valve commonly used for small tyres and sack trucks, allowing convenient inflation.
- Max. speed: The permissible maximum speed (15 km/h) indicates up to which speed the tyre may be used safely.
- Tyre pressure (bar): The recommended operating pressure (4.2 bar) ensures optimum load capacity, stability and service life of the tyre.
Frequently asked questions about this product
Age: Trailer tyres age more as a result of being left stationary than from the number of kilometres travelled. It is advisable to replace them after around six years, even if the tread is still in good condition; for trailers approved for 100 km/h, this is mandatory. The date of manufacture is shown as a DOT number on the sidewall: 3223 means the 32nd calendar week of 2023.
Load capacity (Load Index, LI): The number before the letter indicates the load capacity per tyre. The fitted tyre must meet at least the value stated in the vehicle documents — a higher value is permitted, but a lower one is not.

Speed index: The letter following the load index indicates the maximum permitted speed. An ‘L’ is required for a 100 km/h rating.

Winter tyres: There is no requirement for winter tyres on trailers, as the wheels are not driven. An M+S or Alpine symbol is not required.
Tyre pressure: Trailer tyres require significantly higher pressure than car tyres. The correct pressure is specified in the vehicle documents or on the sticker on the trailer. Insufficient pressure is the most common cause of tyre damage.
Tread depth: the legal minimum is 1.6 mm. You can also recognise old tyres by fine cracks in the sidewall and tread base.
Replacement: Tyres and complete wheels.
