The unbraked Alko running axle type UBR 700-5 in the ‘Basic’ version is designed for a permissible axle load of 750 kg and is suitable for a wide range of applications in trailer construction. The maintenance-free rubber spring axle with hexagonal rubber suspension ensures smooth driving comfort without regular maintenance.
The axle tube has a diameter of 71 mm and is made of hot-dip galvanised steel, which ensures reliable corrosion protection. The wheel bearings are designed as compact bearings, ensuring a long service life and high load capacity. The axle has a wheel connection with a 4 x 100 mm bolt circle and is supplied with eight tapered wheel bolts.
The support dimension (A) is 1000 mm, the contact dimension (C) is 1430 mm and the trestle height (H) is 15 mm. The screw hole spacing is 160 mm. Compatible rims require a centre hole of at least 57 mm and an offset in the range of 27 to 45 mm. The axle is approved for a maximum speed of 140 km/h, although the legal limit of 100 km/h must be observed in Germany. It cannot be combined with 8-inch wheels.
