Benefits and applications
This KINGS TIRE tyre with matching tube is ideal for wheelbarrows in construction and gardening, go-karts, and light transport trolleys in workshops, warehouses or production facilities. The 4PR construction provides good resistance to impacts and uneven surfaces, while the V-6635 tread pattern offers sufficient grip on hard and slightly loose surfaces.
With a load capacity of 220 kg and a recommended tyre pressure of 2.5 bar, the tyre is optimally designed for frequent transport tasks. The maximum speed of 20 km/h reliably covers typical applications in in-plant transport and in private use. The TT design (with tube) and the widely used TR13 valve make mounting, maintenance and possible tube replacement easier.
Explanation of technical terms
- TT (Tube Type): Tyre construction that is used with a separate inner tube.
- TL (Tubeless): Tyre construction without a separate inner tube (mentioned here only for distinction; this tyre is TT).
- PR (Ply Rating): Indicator of the load capacity class of the carcass; 4PR stands for a reinforced yet still flexible design for light to medium loads.
- LI (Load Index): General term for a code that indicates the load capacity of a tyre (here the load capacity is given directly as 220 kg).
- SI (Speed Index): Code that describes the maximum permissible speed of a tyre (here specified directly as 20 km/h).
- Valve type TR13: Common rubber valve for tubes, suitable for many small rims in industrial and garden applications.
Frequently asked questions about this product
Age: Trailer tyres age more as a result of being left stationary than from the number of kilometres travelled. It is advisable to replace them after around six years, even if the tread is still in good condition; for trailers approved for 100 km/h, this is mandatory. The date of manufacture is shown as a DOT number on the sidewall: 3223 means the 32nd calendar week of 2023.
Load capacity (Load Index, LI): The number before the letter indicates the load capacity per tyre. The fitted tyre must meet at least the value stated in the vehicle documents — a higher value is permitted, but a lower one is not.

Speed index: The letter following the load index indicates the maximum permitted speed. An ‘L’ is required for a 100 km/h rating.

Winter tyres: There is no requirement for winter tyres on trailers, as the wheels are not driven. An M+S or Alpine symbol is not required.
Tyre pressure: Trailer tyres require significantly higher pressure than car tyres. The correct pressure is specified in the vehicle documents or on the sticker on the trailer. Insufficient pressure is the most common cause of tyre damage.
Tread depth: the legal minimum is 1.6 mm. You can also recognise old tyres by fine cracks in the sidewall and tread base.
Replacement: Tyres and complete wheels.
