The scope of delivery includes two WAP universal shock absorbers that are ideal for use on car trailers. These shock absorbers fit a wide range of axles, including models from WAP, PEITZ and BPW, and are designed for trailers with a gross vehicle weight between 750 kg and 3500 kg. They work by applying pressure and ensure improved driving safety through optimal damping.
The shock absorbers have a length of 230 mm when compressed and 370 mm when extended (measured from hole centre to hole centre). The operating range is between 245 mm and 280 mm, which allows for flexible adaptation to different types of trailers. The mounting holes are designed for M12 bolts, and the rubber-cushioned mounting lugs contribute to durability and stability.
Thanks to their robust construction and reliable damping, these shock absorbers are suitable for 100 km/h approval.
