These KA50 adapter plates are the practical solution when the overrun device (also brake/coupling unit on the drawbar head) on the trailer needs to be raised by 50 mm. This is particularly useful if the towbar coupling height on the towing vehicle has changed (e.g. due to suspension modifications) or if the trailer needs to run level again. A correct height improves driving stability, supports even load distribution and can positively influence the function of the overrun brake.
The plates are made of galvanized steel, making them suitable for long-term use on the trailer. With a hole spacing of 166 mm, they can be easily installed in many setups between the overrun device and the drawbar/mounting bracket.
