These adapter plates are installed between the drawbar/chassis and the overrun device to raise the overrun device by 25 mm in a targeted manner. This is particularly helpful when the coupling height needs to be adjusted - e.g. due to a changed vehicle height, different tyre/wheel combinations or trailer modifications. The galvanized steel surface reliably protects against rust and makes the plates ideal for permanent outdoor use.
The E-mark confirms that the component has European type approval. This makes it suitable for use on trailers in public road traffic (provided installation is carried out professionally and matches the respective overrun device).
