The Knott KS30 safety coupling is a high-quality anti-sway coupling that has been specially developed for trailers with a gross vehicle weight rating of up to 3000 kg. It ensures increased driving stability by effectively reducing dangerous rocking and swaying. The coupling is equipped with a safety indicator that allows visual control of the correct fit at all times. Thanks to the adapter plates supplied, the coupling can be used universally and is compatible with various drawbar diameters from Ø35 mm to Ø50 mm. It can be flexibly mounted either horizontally using two M12 or M14 screws or vertically using one M12 or M14 screw. All necessary fastening elements, including nuts and spacers, are included in the scope of delivery to ensure easy installation. The soft bumper protects both the bumper of the towing vehicle and the user's legs from accidental impacts. Ball head on the towing vehicle: The new ball head has a diameter of 50 mm; the wear limit is 49 mm. Measure in several directions using a calliper — the ball wears down in an oval shape, and even a single point measuring less than 49 mm means it needs replacing.
