The advantage of the Compact axle over a Basic axle is the longer service life, e.g. due to a galvanised backplate, as well as a replaceable axle stub.
The braked AL-KO trailer axle type B1200-6 is designed for use on single-axle and tandem-axle trailers.
It provides an axle load of 1350m kg for single-axle vehicles and 2700 kg in tandem operation.
The axle belongs to the Compact model range and features a hexagonal rubber suspension,
which ensures smooth running and stability.
The support dimension (A) is 1100 mm, and the mounting dimension (C) is 1550 mm.
The axle beam has a 97 mm profile and is hot-dip galvanised, providing reliable corrosion protection.
The trailing arm position is 5°, and the trailing arm length is 161.5 mm.
The proven AL-KO wheel brake type 2051 is used for the braking system.
The wheel connection corresponds to the bolt pattern 5 x 112 mm, and the rim centre bore must be at least 57 mm.
The axle is equipped with low-maintenance Compact bearings.
A single-axle brake-cable abutment is already welded on.
The brake drums and wheel brakes are already fully pre-assembled, making installation easier.
