Benefits and application
This 6.00-14 KINGS TIRE V-8509 8PR TT tyre + tube is ideal for tractors and similar machines used in agricultural and horticultural environments. The 8PR construction provides a reinforced carcass for higher loads up to 500 kg per wheel, offering sufficient reserves for trailer or front axle fitment in yard and field operations.
The V-8509 tread pattern provides good grip on soft surfaces such as arable land, meadows or garden areas and supports safe traction at low speeds up to 15 km/h. The recommended tyre pressure of 3.0 bar ensures a balanced ratio between load capacity, driving comfort and soil protection. Thanks to the TT design with TR13 valve, the tyre is particularly service-friendly and easy to mount and repair.
Explanation of technical terms
- TT (Tube Type): Tyre that is always operated with a separate inner tube. In contrast, TL (Tubeless) stands for tubeless tyres.
- PR (Ply Rating): Indicates the load capacity class of the carcass. A higher number (e.g. 8PR) stands for a reinforced construction and higher load capacity.
- Rim size (inch): Indicates the diameter of the rim in inches on which the tyre is mounted.
- Load capacity: Maximum weight that a tyre can safely carry under the specified conditions.
- Max. speed: Maximum permissible speed at which the tyre safely achieves its specified load capacity.
- Valve type TR13: Common rubber valve for tube type tyres in agricultural and industrial applications, suitable for rims with a corresponding valve hole.
Frequently asked questions about this product
Age: Trailer tyres age more as a result of being left stationary than from the number of kilometres travelled. It is advisable to replace them after around six years, even if the tread is still in good condition; for trailers approved for 100 km/h, this is mandatory. The date of manufacture is shown as a DOT number on the sidewall: 3223 means the 32nd calendar week of 2023.
Load capacity (Load Index, LI): The number before the letter indicates the load capacity per tyre. The fitted tyre must meet at least the value stated in the vehicle documents — a higher value is permitted, but a lower one is not.

Speed index: The letter following the load index indicates the maximum permitted speed. An ‘L’ is required for a 100 km/h rating.

| J | 100 | M | 130 | Q | 160 |

Winter tyres: There is no requirement for winter tyres on trailers, as the wheels are not driven. An M+S or Alpine symbol is not required.
Tyre pressure: Trailer tyres require significantly higher pressure than car tyres. The correct pressure is specified in the vehicle documents or on the sticker on the trailer. Insufficient pressure is the most common cause of tyre damage.
Tread depth: the legal minimum is 1.6 mm. You can also recognise old tyres by fine cracks in the sidewall and tread base.
Replacement: Tyres and complete wheels.
