Benefits and application area
This tyre is ideal for snow blowers and similar machines that are used on slippery or snow-covered surfaces. The V-8505 tread pattern ensures good grip and reliable propulsion, even at low temperatures and in wet conditions. The 13x5.00-6 size provides good manoeuvrability in confined areas such as driveways, walkways and yard areas.
With a load index of 36 and a load capacity of 125 kg, the tyre is perfectly suited for typical snow blowers in private and semi-professional use. The speed index A4 (up to 20 km/h) safely covers the usual working speeds of snow blowers. Thanks to the tubeless design (TL), the risk of tube damage is reduced and maintenance is simplified.
Explanation of technical terms
- TL (Tubeless): Tubeless tyre that is mounted directly on the rim without a separate inner tube. Advantage: less susceptible to tube punctures, easier maintenance.
- PR (Ply Rating): Indicates the load capacity class or the relative carcass strength of the tyre. 2PR stands for a light, flexible design for lower loads.
- LI (Load Index): Code number for the maximum permissible load capacity of a tyre. LI 36 corresponds here to a load capacity of 125 kg.
- SI (Speed Index): Indicates the maximum permissible speed for which the tyre is designed. A4 stands for a maximum speed of 20 km/h.
- Tyre size 13x5.00-6: "13" stands for the approximate outer diameter of the tyre in inches, "5.00" for the tyre width in inches, "6" for the rim diameter in inches.
- Rim size: Refers here to the rim diameter (6 inch) on which the tyre is mounted.
Frequently asked questions about this product
Age: Trailer tyres age more as a result of being left stationary than from the number of kilometres travelled. It is advisable to replace them after around six years, even if the tread is still in good condition; for trailers approved for 100 km/h, this is mandatory. The date of manufacture is shown as a DOT number on the sidewall: 3223 means the 32nd calendar week of 2023.
Load capacity (Load Index, LI): The number before the letter indicates the load capacity per tyre. The fitted tyre must meet at least the value stated in the vehicle documents — a higher value is permitted, but a lower one is not.

Speed index: The letter following the load index indicates the maximum permitted speed. An ‘L’ is required for a 100 km/h rating.

Winter tyres: There is no requirement for winter tyres on trailers, as the wheels are not driven. An M+S or Alpine symbol is not required.
Tyre pressure: Trailer tyres require significantly higher pressure than car tyres. The correct pressure is specified in the vehicle documents or on the sticker on the trailer. Insufficient pressure is the most common cause of tyre damage.
Tread depth: the legal minimum is 1.6 mm. You can also recognise old tyres by fine cracks in the sidewall and tread base.
Replacement: Tyres and complete wheels.
