Advantages and applications
This tyre has been specially designed for industrial use and impresses with its high load capacity and durability. The V-6509 tread pattern ensures good traction on different surfaces and supports safe handling even under full load. With a ply rating of 10PR, the tyre is particularly resistant to impacts and mechanical stresses, as frequently encountered in daily industrial operations.
With a load index of 95 and a load capacity of up to 690 kg, the tyre is ideally suited for transport vehicles and industrial trucks that regularly move heavy loads. The speed index L (up to 120 km/h) additionally allows use in applications where short journeys at higher speeds are required, for example on factory premises or between sites.
As a TT (Tube Type) version, this tyre is used in combination with a suitable inner tube, which can offer advantages in maintenance and repair, especially in industrial environments.
Explanation of technical terms
- TT (Tube Type): Tyre construction that is used with a separate inner tube.
- PR (Ply Rating): Designation of the tyre's load capacity class; a higher value (e.g. 10PR) stands for a reinforced, durable construction.
- LI (Load Index): Numerical code for the maximum permissible load capacity of a tyre. LI 95 corresponds here to a load capacity of 690 kg.
- SI (Speed Index): Letter code for the maximum permissible speed. SI L stands for a maximum speed of up to 120 km/h.
- Rim size: Indicates the rim diameter on which the tyre is mounted, here 9 inch.
- Tyre pressure: Recommended operating pressure of the tyre; correct pressure (here 6.5 bar) is crucial for load capacity, handling and service life.
Frequently asked questions about this product
Age: Trailer tyres age more as a result of being left stationary than from the number of kilometres travelled. It is advisable to replace them after around six years, even if the tread is still in good condition; for trailers approved for 100 km/h, this is mandatory. The date of manufacture is shown as a DOT number on the sidewall: 3223 means the 32nd calendar week of 2023.
Load capacity (Load Index, LI): The number before the letter indicates the load capacity per tyre. The fitted tyre must meet at least the value stated in the vehicle documents — a higher value is permitted, but a lower one is not.

Speed index: The letter following the load index indicates the maximum permitted speed. An ‘L’ is required for a 100 km/h rating.

Winter tyres: There is no requirement for winter tyres on trailers, as the wheels are not driven. An M+S or Alpine symbol is not required.
Tyre pressure: Trailer tyres require significantly higher pressure than car tyres. The correct pressure is specified in the vehicle documents or on the sticker on the trailer. Insufficient pressure is the most common cause of tyre damage.
Tread depth: the legal minimum is 1.6 mm. You can also recognise old tyres by fine cracks in the sidewall and tread base.
Replacement: Tyres and complete wheels.
