Benefits and applications
This tyre-tube set is ideal for lawn mowers and similar machines used in garden and park maintenance that must be moved safely and reliably on lawns, meadows and flat surfaces. The V-3502 tread pattern provides good grip while protecting the grass surface. The 4PR construction ensures solid load capacity up to 200 kg, making it suitable for many private and professional applications.
Thanks to the TT tyre type with separate tube, the set is less sensitive to minor damage than pure tubeless solutions, as the tube can simply be replaced if necessary. The speed index A6 (up to 30 km/h) and load index 52 ensure safe operation within the intended application range of lawn mowers and small machinery.
Explanation of technical terms
- TT (Tube Type): Tyre construction in which a separate tube is used inside the tyre.
- PR (Ply Rating): Indicator of the tyre’s load capacity class. 4PR stands for a reinforced, robust design for higher loads.
- LI (Load Index): Numerical code indicating the maximum permissible load capacity of the tyre. LI 52 corresponds here to 200 kg per tyre.
- SI (Speed Index): Letter code indicating the maximum permissible speed of the tyre. A6 stands for up to 30 km/h.
- Valve type TR13: Common rubber valve for tube-type tyres, suitable for many standard rims used on small machinery.
Frequently asked questions about this product
Age: Trailer tyres age more as a result of being left stationary than from the number of kilometres travelled. It is advisable to replace them after around six years, even if the tread is still in good condition; for trailers approved for 100 km/h, this is mandatory. The date of manufacture is shown as a DOT number on the sidewall: 3223 means the 32nd calendar week of 2023.
Load capacity (Load Index, LI): The number before the letter indicates the load capacity per tyre. The fitted tyre must meet at least the value stated in the vehicle documents — a higher value is permitted, but a lower one is not.

Speed index: The letter following the load index indicates the maximum permitted speed. An ‘L’ is required for a 100 km/h rating.

Winter tyres: There is no requirement for winter tyres on trailers, as the wheels are not driven. An M+S or Alpine symbol is not required.
Tyre pressure: Trailer tyres require significantly higher pressure than car tyres. The correct pressure is specified in the vehicle documents or on the sticker on the trailer. Insufficient pressure is the most common cause of tyre damage.
Tread depth: the legal minimum is 1.6 mm. You can also recognise old tyres by fine cracks in the sidewall and tread base.
Replacement: Tyres and complete wheels.
