Benefits and applications
The 16x6.50-8 V-3502 6PR TL tyre from KINGS TIRE is ideal for lawn mowers and similar machines used in professional and private garden and park maintenance. The 6PR carcass ensures high stability and resistance to impacts and uneven ground. With a load capacity of 349 kg, the tyre is suitable for use on heavier equipment, such as ride-on mowers or small municipal machines.
The A3 speed index and the maximum speed of 15 km/h are perfectly matched to typical working speeds in garden and park environments. The V-3502 tread pattern offers a good compromise between traction and ground protection, so that lawn areas are damaged as little as possible. Thanks to the tubeless design (TL), no separate tube is required, making the system less susceptible to damage and simplifying maintenance.
Explanation of technical terms
- TL (Tubeless): Tubeless tyre that seals directly on the rim without a separate inner tube. Usually offers higher puncture resistance and easier maintenance.
- TT (Tube Type): Refers to tyres that are used with a separate inner tube. (Note: This product is TL, not TT.)
- PR (Ply Rating): Indicates the load capacity class of the carcass. A higher number (e.g. 6PR) stands for a more robust, higher load-capacity design.
- SI (Speed Index): Indicates the maximum permissible speed for which the tyre is designed. A3 here corresponds to a maximum speed of 15 km/h.
- Load capacity: Maximum load that a tyre can safely carry at the correct air pressure and approved speed.
- Tyre pressure (bar): Recommended air pressure in the tyre. It influences load capacity, driving comfort and wear.
- Rim size: Refers to the rim diameter on which the tyre is mounted, here 8 inch.
Frequently asked questions about this product
Age: Trailer tyres age more as a result of being left stationary than from the number of kilometres travelled. It is advisable to replace them after around six years, even if the tread is still in good condition; for trailers approved for 100 km/h, this is mandatory. The date of manufacture is shown as a DOT number on the sidewall: 3223 means the 32nd calendar week of 2023.
Load capacity (Load Index, LI): The number before the letter indicates the load capacity per tyre. The fitted tyre must meet at least the value stated in the vehicle documents — a higher value is permitted, but a lower one is not.

Winter tyres: There is no requirement for winter tyres on trailers, as the wheels are not driven. An M+S or Alpine symbol is not required.
Tyre pressure: Trailer tyres require significantly higher pressure than car tyres. The correct pressure is specified in the vehicle documents or on the sticker on the trailer. Insufficient pressure is the most common cause of tyre damage.
Tread depth: the legal minimum is 1.6 mm. You can also recognise old tyres by fine cracks in the sidewall and tread base.
Replacement: Tyres and complete wheels.
