Benefits and application
This KINGS TIRE tyre with tube is ideal for hay tedders and similar agricultural machines that operate at low speeds. The 6PR construction provides a robust carcass for use on uneven meadows and agricultural land. The V-3503 tread pattern ensures good grip and stable handling, even with changing ground conditions.
Thanks to the TT design (tyre with tube), the tyre is particularly service-friendly and can be easily mounted or repaired when required. The TR13 valve is a common standard for tubes in this size range and allows trouble-free inflation. With a load capacity of 250 kg and a maximum speed of 15 km/h, this tyre is optimally matched to typical working speeds and loads in hay tedder operation.
Explanation of technical terms
- TT (Tube Type): Tyre construction in which a separate tube is used inside the tyre.
- PR (Ply Rating): Ply Rating indicates the load capacity class of the carcass; higher values stand for a more robust, more durable construction.
- LI (Load Index): The load index is a code that indicates the maximum permissible load capacity of the tyre. LI 60 corresponds here to 250 kg.
- SI (Speed Index): The speed index indicates the maximum permissible speed for which the tyre is designed. SI A3 corresponds to a maximum speed of 15 km/h.
- Valve type TR13: Widely used valve for tubes in the small tyre segment, suitable for many rim bores in this range.
- Rim size (inch): Indicates the rim diameter on which the tyre is mounted, here 6 inch.
Frequently asked questions about this product
Age: Trailer tyres age more as a result of being left stationary than from the number of kilometres travelled. It is advisable to replace them after around six years, even if the tread is still in good condition; for trailers approved for 100 km/h, this is mandatory. The date of manufacture is shown as a DOT number on the sidewall: 3223 means the 32nd calendar week of 2023.
Load capacity (Load Index, LI): The number before the letter indicates the load capacity per tyre. The fitted tyre must meet at least the value stated in the vehicle documents — a higher value is permitted, but a lower one is not.

| 78 | 425 | 90 | 600 | 104 | 900 | 120 | 1400 |
Speed index: The letter following the load index indicates the maximum permitted speed. An ‘L’ is required for a 100 km/h rating.

Winter tyres: There is no requirement for winter tyres on trailers, as the wheels are not driven. An M+S or Alpine symbol is not required.
Tyre pressure: Trailer tyres require significantly higher pressure than car tyres. The correct pressure is specified in the vehicle documents or on the sticker on the trailer. Insufficient pressure is the most common cause of tyre damage.
Tread depth: the legal minimum is 1.6 mm. You can also recognise old tyres by fine cracks in the sidewall and tread base.
Replacement: Tyres and complete wheels.
