This adapter frame is the practical solution when a roof window (roof hatch) or a roof air conditioner is to be installed on the ribbed roof of a panel van or bus motorhome. The beads/profile ribs in the vehicle roof can otherwise lead to uneven contact surfaces. The adapter frame creates a level mounting area, simplifying installation and supporting clean alignment of the opening.
