This adapter frame for 400x400 mm roof hatches is the practical solution when a roof hatch/rooflight or a roof air conditioner is to be installed on a ribbed roof (typical of panel vans and bus motorhomes). The roof structure with corrugations and ribs can otherwise lead to gaps, stress or leaks.
The adapter frame compensates for the roof profiling and creates a level support surface for installation. This makes the roof opening easier to seal and the mounted components sit more securely. The frame is particularly suitable for conversions and retrofits on common base vehicles in the camping and transport sector.
